Working principle of bulldozer idler

Use the grease gun to inject the grease into the grease cylinder through the grease fitting, so that the piston extends to push the tension spring and move the guide wheel to the left

to tighten the crawler, the jacking spring has an appropriate stroke. When the tensioning force is too large, the spring is compressed to buffer: after the excessive tensioning force disappears, the compressed spring will push the guide wheel to the original position, which can ensure the sliding along the crawler frame to change the wheel track, ensure the disassembly of the crawler, reduce the impact in the walking process and avoid the derailment of the rail chain.
