I often hear from friends about the problems such as oil leakage of excavator support wheels, broken sprocket wheels, and inconsistent tightness of the walking tracks, and these are all problems related to the four wheels of the excavator. The four-wheel area is directly related to the working performance and walking performance of the excavator. If the excavator is to travel and fast, maintenance is the key.
1. Supporting wheel
During work, try to avoid the support wheel soaking in muddy water for a long time.
After the daily work is completed, the one-sided crawler should be propped up, and the walking motor should be driven to shake off the dirt, gravel and other debris on the crawler.
The roller must be kept dry during construction in winter, because there is a floating seal between the outer wheel of the roller and the shaft. If there is water, it will freeze at night. When the excavator is moved the next day, the seal and ice will be contacted. Scratches cause oil leakage.
Damage to the supporting rollers will cause many failures, such as running deviations, walking weakness, etc.
Second, the supporting sprocket wheel
The sprocket wheel is located above the X frame, and its function is to maintain the linear movement of the chain track. If the sprocket wheel is damaged, the track chain track cannot maintain a straight line.
The sprocket wheel is a one-time injection of lubricating oil. If there is an oil leakage, it can only be replaced with a new one. During work, try to avoid the supporting wheel soaking in muddy water for a long time. Usually, keep the X-frame inclined platform clean. Too much accumulation of dirt and gravel hinders the rotation of the supporting sprocket.
Three, guide wheel
The guide wheel is located in front of the X frame, and it consists of a guide wheel and a tension spring installed inside the X frame.
Keep the guide wheel in front during operation and walking, so as to avoid abnormal wear of the chain track, and the tension spring can also absorb the impact of the road surface during work and reduce wear.
Fourth, the driving wheel
The drive wheel is located behind the X frame because it is directly fixed on the X frame and has no shock absorption function. If the drive wheel travels in front, it will not only cause abnormal wear on the drive ring gear and chain rail, but also have a negative impact on the X frame. The X frame may have problems such as early cracking.
The protective plate of the walking motor can protect the motor. At the same time, some soil and gravel will enter the internal space, which will wear the oil pipe of the walking motor. The water in the soil will corrode the joints of the oil pipe, so the protective plate should be opened regularly. Clean up the dirt inside.
Five, track
The crawler belt is mainly composed of a crawler shoe and a chain track section. The crawler shoe is divided into a standard plate and an extension plate. Standard plates are used for earthwork conditions, and extended plates are used for wetland conditions.
The wear on the track shoe is the most serious in the mine. When walking, the rubble sometimes gets stuck in the gap between the two boards. When it comes into contact with the ground, it will squeeze the two boards, and the track shoe is prone to bending. Deformation and long-term walking will also cause cracking problems in the bolt fixation of the track shoe.
The chain track section is in contact with the drive gear ring and is driven by the gear ring to rotate. If the track is too tight, it will cause early wear of the chain track, ring gear and guide wheel. Therefore, it is necessary to adjust the tension of the crawler according to the different construction road conditions.
