When idler worn out to extreme dimensions, you can repair by welded, or even replace new idler.

1. Keep the crawler track to the proper tensioning. If too tight, under the force of the idler tensioning spring, it can cause the accelerated wear of idler shaft and bushing, track shoe and its pin, also lead to the pitch of track shoe elongate.

2. Keep the idler alignment. If not, will leads to other undercarriage parts (such as lower roller, upper roller, sprocket, track shoe) abnormal wear.
