Precautions for use of excavator hydraulic cylinder

After knowing the cause of oil leakage of hydraulic cylinder, the problem comes. What problems should we pay attention to when using hydraulic cylinder? Next, let's talk about the precautions for the use of hydraulic cylinders.

1. During normal use, we should pay attention to protect the outer surface of the piston rod to prevent the damage of bumps and scratches to the seals. Now some engineering machinery oil cylinders are designed with protective plates. Although there are, we should pay attention to prevent bumps and scratches. In addition, I also need to regularly clean the sediment on the dynamic seal dust ring of the oil cylinder and the exposed piston rod to prevent the dirt that is not easy to clean pasted on the surface of the piston rod from entering the oil cylinder, resulting in damage to the piston, cylinder barrel or seal.

2. During normal use, we should also pay attention to regularly check the connecting parts such as threads and bolts, and fasten them immediately if they are loose. Because the looseness of these places will also cause oil leakage of the hydraulic cylinder, which is well understood by the personnel engaged in construction machinery.

3. Frequently lubricate the connecting parts to prevent corrosion or abnormal wear without oil. Especially for some parts with corrosion, we should deal with them in time to avoid oil leakage of hydraulic cylinder caused by corrosion.

4. During normal maintenance, we should pay attention to replacing the hydraulic oil regularly, cleaning the system filter screen in time and increasing the cleanliness of the hydraulic oil, which is important for prolonging the service life of the hydraulic cylinder.

5. During normal operation, we should pay attention to controlling the system temperature, because too high oil temperature will reduce the service life of the seal, and long-term high oil temperature will deform the seal, and in serious cases, the seal will fail.

6. Usually, when we use it every time, we should carry out the test run of full extension and full contraction, and then work after 3-5 strokes. The purpose of this is to exhaust the air in the system and preheat each system, so as to effectively avoid the existence of air or water in the system and cause gas explosion in the cylinder block, which will damage the seals and cause internal leakage of the cylinder.

7. After each work is completed, we need to pay attention to keep the big and small arms and bucket in the same state, that is, increase the hydraulic oil in the hydraulic cylinder and return all the hydraulic oil to the hydraulic cylinder oil tank, and the hydraulic cylinder is not under pressure. Because the hydraulic cylinder bears the pressure in one direction for a long time, it will also cause damage to the seal.
